Anything with a BS1363 attached, is classed as a portable appliance and therefore does not come under bs7671.
because its being plugged in, im assuming that the socket cct is being protected by relevant RCD/RCBOs therefore meaning that the installation does not require protection by a 30mA RCD
i will agree in respect of the separation, no matter how far the distance, should always segregate the AC cables from the AV cables.
safe zones should have been adhered to. but job done now, so long as the customer is aware there isnt much else we can do
