Has anybody ever set one of these wireless routers up?

I have one on a tiscali line with broadband and cant get the dam X( thing to work.

I bought it from "Digidave" of the internet, (more like Dodgydave) and following their (sh*te) instructions i am to set the pppoe to pppoa (whatever that means)

Ive got one, and I bought a usb dongle thingie of e.bay a while back, Im sure that was digidave,

eventually got it to work when I decided NOT to let it control my wireless connection and let windows do it.

my wifi is NTL with a buffalo router(

have you tried to set it up with a wired set up first to do your passwords etc before you start looking for wifi devices ?

Remember though the best way to get a wireless router working is: -

1. achieve the direct cable connection first.

2. access the internet through this direct connection.

3. Set the security to open ie none.

4 Achieve the wireless connection.

5. Set the security to your requirements.

Yes i have seen the motorola web site and it still wont connect to the internet, according to "dodgydave" i have to set the pppoe to pppoa but there is nowhere in the menus to let you do it.

I must say its the biggest bag of sh**e i have ever encountered!

So its going back to them with a "snotty letter" of complaint for a refund.Applaud Smiley
