A while ago now, i fitted a number of thorn piaza outside lights which were all on the same circuit. The ones i replaced kept blowing their ballasts, but it was a right pain in the rear finding out which one had blown as they were all covered over in a cage as well. And if one had gone it would knock all the others off. The MCB could not be reset until the faulty one was found. So when i replaced them i relaced all the terminals with ones with fuse holders. Much easier to find the culprit and the others would still remain working.

Two would be needed on any timer fans and then warning notices that it may be live even if one has blown.
