Yes, and i have never worked out why anyone would fit one, say you fit it in the summer for 3 hours so it goes off around midnight, come winter it would turn on at 15.30pm it would turn off around 18.30 ! They have a max 8 hours on time so if you set it for that, then in the winter 23.30 off but 5am in the summer. Unless you like climbing ladders and adjusting the high quality plastic Chinese screw recessed in the side because even though you explained this to the customer, they still complain. Am i missing something with these ?
The way i always wire these is, timeclock first that feeds the photocell. I set the on time for around 14.00hrs (so it does not need adjusting summer/winter) which means the light will flash on for a couple of seconds as the photocell powers up. The clock is then set to turn off say 1.0 am.
You have still not told us what the override switch is for, a on or off ? Lets assume its to make the lights stay permanently on, the switch has to connect to a always live source and the light so bypassing any other controls. Now draw that out.
