PC problem , needs help please

thanks for some more info mate , but so far I still dont have luck, i did tried to turn off all anti virus and firewall , I even try to used the ethernet yellow cable directly to the laptop but still no sign at all...cheers for your time guys , Im still waiting for more info around ,,

Worth confirming again that you have connectivity.

try Start > RUN > CMD then ping www.bbc.co.uk

if you get something like this

Pinging www.bbc.net.uk [212.58.253.67] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 212.58.253.67: bytes=32 time=225ms TTL=113

Then it proves you have connectivity with the internet and suggests it's port 80 thats being blocked.

from the same window try telnet www.bbc.co.uk 80 and let us know what you get.
