Any one know the wattage of a normal plate heater, doing a pub atm and cant remeber for the life of me what rating they usually are. i have googled them but not coming up witch anything.... i remember thinking 500W any idea???

 
You might need to think again;  a slow cooker can be 300W

and some are more than that.

last year i had to put lots of radials in for some table heaters... smallest one was 3kW. largest 5.5kW. complete with 2x 13a plugs (not widow makers, fortunately!)

 
have nothing at hand. yes i remember them being small. i dont need to think again as they dont cook food only heat up the plates to keep the food warm!! 

Ummmm im sure they are at tops 500W ??? 

Any one done one recently
