Hello good fellows- I have just joined the group and would like to see if someone can provide any help please.
The electricity supplier company changed my old mechanical electricity meter with a new digital electricity meter (not the smart one). This has caused a problem with all of my off peak electrcity sockets i.e. none of these sockets power up during the off peak time (about 11:30pm to 07:00am)- However they used to work with the old meter.
However my off peak reading on the meter shows that off peak electricity has been consumed. This has caused a problem since I have storage heaters, Dimplex duoheat radiators and for these to function properly require both peak and off peak electricity supply.
Q1: Does the new digital meter do not require two electricity wirings one for peak and one for off peak as the old one used to have?
Q: if the answer to Q1 is YES then how one can configure the storage rediator wiring? Since these radiators need both peak and off peak electrcity wiring supply.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thankyou, tools
