The previous wiring was certainly a DIY bodge.It sounds like a garden garage after all, being so small, for what the costs are I would Rcd it except the lighting, and if anything like a compressor that's fixed then that I would just hard wire it in with no Rcd, Mike.
It's an annex building to the main garage. Previously just used as a large store room, they have now divided it up into more organised storage with 2 store rooms downstairs and an office above them on a mezanine that's just been built.
Apart from storage there are just the tyre fitting and tyre ballancing machine and a pillar drill.
So there's still not much to the installation. Most of the serious stuff is in the main part of the garage that I rewired 2 years ago with a new 3 phase board.
