if you dont have to extend any of the cables,

then, you are not redesigning any of the circuits, and if they complied at the time of install, then its still all fine,

I had a recent assessment on an install with a plastic CU that was designed and started before amd3 and no issues whatsoever as it all complied at the time of design

Welcome back Steps, missed you😀 @steptoe

Welcome home Steps, been in the wilderness for a while have you?

Goodness me gents, don't make it look too obvious that the forum has been lacking that added level of knowledge, expertise and experience in the quality of post contributions, that some of our long term regular members are able to bring. You'll have him thinking we've been struggling without him. Hope all of your personal commitments and priorities are balancing out a bit more to allow you some extra fee time to visit the forum more often Steptoe.  It is always nice to see an old regular contributor logging back on.

I've come to this a bit late, but just as a tangent...

How about considering fitting putty pads inside the plastic board?
