Remove unwanted spotlights

Hi all,

I have some spotlights in a room that I no longer need and want to store the cable in the attic safely in case we do use it in the future. I have been reading and watching videos about the use of wago connectors to keep the wiring safe. I also saw that these wago connectors can go in a wago box which itself can then be fixed to an attic joist. 

If this is true, how would the wiring in each wago connector look. Would I use one wago for each of the three cables, Live, Neutral and Earth? And then stick those three wagos in a wago junction box?

Just remeber ONE Wago connector is for ONE core 'designation' ( sorry cannot think of a better description)

so....a 5 way Wago would be for up to 5 earths OR 5 neutrals etc. You CANNOT MIX n MATCH within the same connector. Do NOT use the double " Wago"  line/neutral/earth items from toolstation. They are cheap copies BUT look like the real thing. Ok for a cheap pot end/cap off as a temporary measure, but I wouldn't trust them to be left in circuit

I would just use some of these saves messing about with separate connectors especially if you are not going to use them all.

Yes....all joints have to be in an  enclosure

or use the Ashley version in the previous post
