review of Kewtech clamp meter KT203

So...I got an AC/DC clamp meter from our forum sponsor ISSWWW.

Must say I`m impressed with the quality & ease of use from the outset.

If I could pick on anything at all - I`d like an option to illuminate the display.

My only other gripe concerns the supplied test leads; which don`t easily make contact with the innards of an MC4 connector.

BUT

The positives:

You can read AC and DC voltage and current; plus resistance.

Its compact.

Its easy to use.

I give it 10/10 on the value for money score.

got mine from megger mark, and agree with the backlit display which would come in handy in lofts.

Having said that mate, it DOES have a "data hold"; so it is possible to "hold" the reading & move to better light. B--U--T---------I`d prefer to read it there & then.

Reviews are helpful to the members. I am saddened that such an esteemed member as KME doesn't have a torch in his kit.
