Home made from a bit of t&e sheath?

Spent hours doing that as an apprentice...always notched the sides with snips to make it fit better around bends

I have some Hellerman Tyton strip,in three thicknesses which is very good...no,idea where I acquired it though.

Do,younuse the crenolated gromet strip,or the plain stuff?

The crenolated ( notchy) one stays on well....but i tend to put a bit of epoxy on it or use the glue gun...seems to do the job

The MK stuff is notched,, my stuff is plain....

Maybe I should get my glue gun out before knocking off the power

i wouldnt worry about it. metal CU cant contain fires anyway

Pretty sure mice are happy to nest in a plastic or metal DB especially if there's a knock out missing. More room too in a commercial board. I wonder in that Clandon Park fire whether there was any specific evidence of combustible materials in the board as in "what" - the report says there was a probability of combustible materials being present. Seems a bit glossed over IMHO.

I think i heard a passing cyclist call me a "gent" once.....but i could have miss heard him.,.same as I once thought i saw a forum members name on a loaf of bread!.....again I Was mistaken as it actually said 'Thick Cut'

All I've ever used, I've never used grommet (with an e) strip, it is all complete rubbish, even the best stuff is nowhere near as good as a bit of T&E sheath.
