Rigged Meter

i was doing PIR in this house and the first thing i noticed was the nice little join on the 16mm meter tail.

2x1.00mm twin and earths with all the cores twisted around the bare copper of the 16mm and then taped up

inside the board they are connected to the bottom of the live bar

his gas meter was rigged to apparently.

Have you mentioned it to the person who requested the PIR ?

Only it may come back to you at a later date and bite your A**e just a thought with regards of the tamppered meter.

my test woulda stopped right there on the visual.!

I wouldnt even have took the cover off the board,

address and limitations woulda been about all I filled in.

yes i told them and we got the go ahead for a board replace

i never did the PIR, waiting until legal power is on first
