Ahh, but Larnacaman, he said "in the Winter" when pvc would be approaching its glass transition temperature, but XLPE being a thermoset has a much lower change point!

Still feels like that dammed insulation has been glued to the cable cores ....be it winter or summer!!! lol!!!
