Hi everyone, my Grandson has bought me a:

Start Stop Switch No Volt Release Switch NVR ( 2HP/16A  for my little sawbench.

At present I am using it with a 3 pin plug on the power cable which is plugged into a wall socket.

I am now ready to fit the switch, and would appreciate if someone can talk me through the numbers on the side of the switch, which are:

spade fittings............ IN.  pin No13 and pin No 23

OUT pin No14 and pin No 24

with a smaller  spade fitting which I'm inclined to think is an earth point.

a big thank you inanticipation of a reply.

Ok...

The numbers on terminals actually mean something..

The 13 and 14..

The ones with the "1"'s means that they are a "pair" if you see what i mean, and the 3 and the 4 mean that they are "normally open" contacts

The 23 and the 24

The ones with the "2"'s means that they are a "pair" too. They are a pair of normally open contacts too [as they have a 3 and a 4]

I would GUESS that the feed goes to the 13 and 23 and the motor to the 14 and 24

The extra one, is there a number on that?? I doubt it is an earth..

Photo needed.......

john..

thanks for that John.

Ref. a photo, I'm not very good at that, but I do have the switch item number on ebay, so if you have the time, you might take a look at diagram on the switch on ebay.

The number is  252070795485

I'll  keep popping on site to view any reply.
