They are stacked, but with spacers in between to enhance airflowThat's cool. Mine are going under my stairs, and I've only got a depth of 800, so want as small a box as possible.
Obviously I could go the Binky route and just stack them, then they'd only be 450 depth.
Don't you use their proper brackets? They are stacked, but with spacers in between to enhance airflow
Little fingers are my worry. Weirdly not my 4 year old, I doesn't touch anything, and I've always got tools around, but all his sticky fingered, nosey little friends are my worry, don't want someone's kid messing my walls up with their exploded heads. If you can safely store them without little fingers poking about them just stack them as Binky has. If you want extra security then a lockable cabinet.
Hey Stu, I don't really understand the advice, but I'll take it. So did your chaps in the noze give you examples of what to use?Dont use server rack fans, they are designed for max airflow in a tight space, what you want is "slow and low" ie large fans running slowly, it will massively decrease the noise! That's wot i was taught by chaps wot noze a lot more dan i dozz ;-)
Cheers
Stu
What am I missing here? I googled and ebay'd "Server rack rails" as you suggested, and a pair of them are coming up at £30 and upwards. Surely they are simple angle iron, but mild steel.Yes m8. If you Google server rack rails there are loads of different types. Some solid shelf's. Some sliding. Ect
