Im repeating myself...10mm on a 40a breaker over 30m clipped direct no insulation just over 2% vd

Just... randomly stabbing in the dark and hoping to hit something squidgy.

The run is 9 mts long and the cable is 6.0 t/e and the shower is a 8.5

Tn-s 100 amp main fuse 25 mm tails and 16 mm earth

well if your using 100a as OCPD then you probably need a supp earth... and maybe a larger cable...

Yes you definitely need an earth.

There's usually one built into the cable, which is usually adequate.

Have you considered current carrying capacity? volt drop? Zs? Installation method? rcd protection? 

Get all those within regs and your installation will comply.
