This was on a radio phone in today .    Discussion was on jobs going to immigrants on low money .

English guy says he applied for a job as a groundsman , chats with the lady taking details and asks if there are many applicants.

240  I think was the figure .

The guy discovered that 210  applicants were from people with obvious Eastern European names .

This says something about our present employment situation ,  is the indiginous population too lazy  or getting too much in benifits  to be bothered to get a job  .......... or does it say there are more immigrants taking jobs than we are told. 

We did a job in a foodstuffs factory recently .... not an Englishman in the place ... Romanians, Ukranians, Russian ,Polish, Greek ., asian , West indian ......... .   again not sure what this is telling us ...but its telling us something .   :C

That thing recently about Parkside School being taken over by Muslims. A pan around the classroom on BBC news showed not a white face to be seen.

The English are in their nice inherited council funded homes they only have to go out to sign on and buy crack.

The Romanian's are living in a shared house with 20 other people and have to work nights removing hair from the insulator's on the London underground.

Who is more likely to want to succeed ?

I'm sure if you dumped 1/4 of a million British 20 something's on Romania the situation would be the same there.

Eastern europeans,  Nigerians, etc etc are all higher up the classification scale, to enable them to get social housing.  If your British,  you need to be a drug addict or an alcoholic. 

I also found out in an ethnicity report done recently,   that you are more likely to get evicted if you are white/British.

Thing is the Poles want to work there, cos the money they earn goes along way back home when they return to Poland, whereas the locals treated it as a crap job you could always get when desperate or just left school. Can't blame Ginsters for wanting a willing work force. It also has to be said I have met work-shy Poles aswell.

they are skilled. at filling in dole paperwork and watching TV all day. id get bored of it after a few hours

And what is wrong with Jeremy Vine?   you must have missed the discussion about getting electric shocks in the street and countryside the other day,  after there was a story of a dog getting a belt while cocking its leg up at a lampost.  Very interesting!

Knowing some ex & current street lighting sparks round here, that is not an uncommon occurrence apparently, especially when the darlings steel the column doors!

Cant remember the exact reason (long time ago since i worked there. making myself sound old....), but something like that happened in gateshead, so they went round every column and put an earth to the door...

Apparently this stuff came to light in 2010  and has been pushed under the bed by the sound of it .    Tremendous amount of discussion in the local media round here .  We were warned what would happen by He Who Must Not Be Named back in '66 .  

Its not just the one school .  

In our previous incarnation, 20 yrs ago,  we did a lot of work in city schools , most public money was spent in the areas where the minorities in the school were white , Christian kids , say 3 in the whole school .

We did an externsive  IT install in another of the named schools and truckloads of computer equipment was installed .  

Next job was across the city in white , middle-class, Sutton Coldfield , where the only way for the primary school to finally get indoor toilets was for the parents  & teachers to have held fundraisers for 2 years to rais the money ...as none would be made avaliable from the council as its all spent in the inner city areas.

Not quite hijacking the thread - but also on the radio yesterday; the bit about learner drivers being taught NOT to get out of the way of an ambulance, as it may cause an accident. They didn`t say if that would extend to fire & police too ( probably not - if you don`t get out of a coppers` way, he may nick you :slap ) but this is surely the wrong thing to be teaching `em.

Thing is - most of us were brought up to think "that ambulance / fire engine might be going to the rescue of a family member, or friend" - so you got out of its way. I always have, and would continue to do so...........   But these "new" drivers are told NOT to..........????? What`s going on with that?
