Skirting board lights

Hi guys going a customer wanting skirting board lighitng can any one suggest any good places (online) to look for lights?

Thanks also another thing I finding it hard to find online, is non industrial kick switchs as have some kick plate lights to fit and the customer wants to be able to do it with his feet?

You may need a skirting board ladder too

For a kick switch I'd maybe use a pneumatic switch, I wouldn't want someone kicking (and possibly breaking) a "live" switch

Yeah was going to used led for the kitchen but it is the skirting ones I was having trouble finding.

I fitted something similar for lighting at the sides of stair treads.

The hardest thing for skirting board lighting is where to fit the transformer.

The ones I did on a staircase had something like 12 lights in total, all fed from one transformer. I mounted the transformer in the under stairs cupboard.

But for a skirting application, you have to think where can you fit such a transformer where it's accessible and reasonably well ventilated.

thanks been having a look around some one to hide the tranny isnt a great issue as i have 2 cupboards behind where i am fitting them!
