don't worry about it DekeDescribe the pic? What's she wearing? What's the pose?
A blue T-shirt , no bra, hardly ever wears one, I notice, just sitting with arms folded and a wistful look in her eyes. Shes dreaming of leaving Hollywood and running away with a Brummie electrician in an ex BT Escort van with a leaky windscreen and a rattling diesel engine.

Shes yearning for the glamour of the Birmingham night life, where you can walk back from the boozer on a cold, rainy , November Saturday night, after a few pints of mild, along the canal towpath to avoid being mugged by the druggies on the streets or shot at by the Jamaican Street gangs cruising in their Beamers .

I could impress her with " Hey, Jen, they used to make HP Sauce there you know"

Or" Would you like to se where they used to make BSA Motor bikes, only 3 miles on this towpath" B-)B-)B-)

How about seranading her with a few verses of " Dirty Old Town" by Euan McColl she' d like that. ( You have to be a certain age to recognise that song, I'm afraid)

Ah, time for bed ,said Zebedee. ;)

With laughter at your boast?
Yes. :^O

I wouldn't quite call it a "Boast" - I would call it a moment that I was away with the fairies or Dreaming. :D

You could always play the aeroplane game.

You have to set this up with everyone else except the stag.

You need six chairs or stools, six of you, one of which is the groom to be.

You choose the pilot & co-pilot (not the groom)

the rest sit behind these two, two chairs behind two chairs, behind two chairs.

Pilot to co-pilot "Start engine one" at this point the person in the chair behind the co-pilot makes engine noises. Pilot to co-pilot "start engine two" the person behind the pilot does the same noises.

& so on until you get to engine four (the groom to be) when he has started to make his engine noises co-pilot to pilot "Fire in engine four" At this point you all jump up & throw your beers over the groom to be to put the "Fire" out.

I have a tattoo on my "Codger".It says, in one inch high by 27mm wide lettering in bold print:

Whats a " Codger" is it something Taffs have ?:| In the Midlands a "Codger" is an elderly bloke , slightly confused, you know, like Specs.

I know what a " Todger " is but would never mention it on this fine Forum. :|
