Hi,
Got to rewire 5 flats with new submains. Each is a 'single person' bedsit or one bed flat. All have electric cookers, no elec showers at present.... All flats are centrally heated and hot water is via a central tank [not great I know].
There will be a separate landlords supply for hot water, CH and common lighting. So I reckon allowing approx 10-12kw plus 9 for possible future showers. Say 20 kw x 4 = 80A apporox max demand. However, not sure about diversity and in an ideal world I would like to keep the sub main [which will be clipped direct around the walls] to 10mm 3 core.
I wondered if there is a higher rated type of SWA or similar that has a higher current rating than ordinary SWA 3 core...?
Ideas appreciated!
