So with AMD1 out and everyone ignoring it I thought I'd spring a discussion about Surge Protection

I went into my local wholesaler to find out the cost of the basic hager SPD, which came to

Maybe best to completely analyse the requirements of the ammendment to discuss the full applications of when and what extent is requirerd. Individual SP devices are availrable where whole installation protection is not required. ie, commercial vs domestic applications.
