If I was a tutor I would be more impressed with someone being able to point out that the answers provided were invalid rather than answering what they believed I was looking for.
I agree, however this is a multiple choice exam, the examiners just follow the answer sheets, no leeway to discuss it.

 
The question was from an informal test to see where the holes might be in our knowledge in the run-up to the exam proper, which is in May. The marks we get are not recorded. And our tutors are quite good about this sort of stuff - if the question is wrong or badly worded, we'll get it straightened out.

If I got a question like that in an actual exam, I'd be making a fuss about it though.
