Industry will be grinding to a halt now .

Worked with him since the 70s ....that soon went! :C

Yes I realise that , but then they could not pay you also .

I think that the nameless factory based near me, that makes the well known :C brown insulating resin/linen based board, and also engineering plastics must still be paying him in installments.

Payment terms agreed and signed in advance for commercial & industrial, now, no agreement, no work, no payment on time, means bankruptcy proceedings are immediately commenced by my "people" for unknown customers!

Harsh, but, I am a registered company, not a registered CHARITY!

Don't blame you Sidey. Bob was/is too gentle a soul to get nasty , his wife used to get after them sometimes. His modus operanda was , (and this was when the firms were really busy) they phone with another breakdown , can you come straight away, he says yes as long as you will have a cheque waiting , thats the last job and this one otherwise no go .
