Hi,
We are moving house and I want to take my Tesla Power Wall2 along with Gateway.
The question is do I need a special software/app to make it active at new home?
I am good with electrical and DIY work not sure if I can do that?

Thanks

have you seen the price of these? :)

Tesla tend ot be wall mounted, often externally, so quite easy to remove, apart from the tremendous weight of them.

So a customer of mine had a failure of their Tesla charger (about 7 years old)

The company who fitted it quoted £200 to visit and wouldn't confirm the price of a replacement

Customer bought one for £499 delivered and I fitted it!

Powerwall is the battery, last time I looked at one of those it was £8k.

Well spotted 😉
I was registered as a Tesla battery fitter. As it happens, I never fitted any, they are ridiculously large and heavy at130kg, so basically need lifting gear to install, but as Devon is all on hills, just about every house has steps rendering the lifting gear mostly useless.

Hey! You'll need to contact Tesla support to help with reactivating your Powerwall at the new place. They’ll ensure it's set up correctly in the app and tied to your new address. If you're good with electrical stuff, you might manage the physical install, but Tesla's assistance is key for the software side. Good luck!
