Why would you want to give someone else the power to vote for you? And that's not a very good excuse for not paying taxes is it?

an unused vote is a vote for someone you dont like. I would be giving my vote to someone I trusted with the same views as myself.

why should I pay for the upkeep of a gov that wouldnt allow me to vote, or use its facilities?

dont I pay my NI for my NHS care? that was the idea of them was it not, sickness and pension?

TBH this is NOT IMO about who or what you support, but the freedom of being able to choose, which quite frankly is no longer available in this country when people are able to be sacked or refused employment on the grounds of their political belief, sounds like communism/socialism to me. there really is no difference between them except in peoples minds as an argument for logic.

BTW, having been in rural russia, communism does work, but only if equals are equal.

ok,so what would happen if nobody in this country voted? Would the country fall to it`s knees and cease to function?no of course it wouldnt,all the parties would have no choice but to form a coalition

by that very definition wouldn't there actually be no political parties? ?:|

Surely any political party by its very nature would consist of elected members?

and persons whom provide some financial support toward the administration costs of that party...

These people would one presumes actually support the party they are helping to fund..

and thus would also vote for that party? therefore some people WOULD vote? ; \ :|

In fact if a party received zero votes.. would it not loose its deposit and most probably its financial support and thus cease to exist?

Additionally.. who would bother to listen to any group/body/organisation etc.. that had no support from anyone???

So who would trust these mysterious people who nobody supports.. to make decisions that affect our daily lives???

I can honestly say I do NOT care one jot about............

who is in or out of Strictly come dancing, X-Factor, I'm a celebrity get me out of here..... or similar. So I don't vote for them!

I don't care about the Sun (alleged newspaper) Comic. so I don't buy it.

I have NO interest in Manchester Utd FC.. so I don't watch, support, pay to see, buy any merchandise etc..

Nor do I have any interest in the new Guns-n-Roses release!

And thus I have NO opinions or values relating to any of those subject to put forward to anybody else..

in fact my opinion would be of little value because I have no interest or support for any of them!

It could be said I have little or no right to comment on any of the above as I don't support, follow or vote for them!?

But then..

what do I know?

There are things that I am Liberal about & there are things that I am Conservative about.

Also there are things that I am ecological about.

I vote totaly differently in the locals than I do in the generals. It's all about perspective & what is good for the whole & for your local area.

The other day I heard what happened to Guy fawlkes after he was captured. Tied to a stake, his belly was cut open and while still alive, his guts were pulled out onto the floor and set fire to . OMG !!

Had a great deal last january at wilko's, they were selling blackbags of christmas decorations and titbits for 50p(a bag)

So i bought a load of them.

January sales are the best in wilko, i go there rather than anywhere else.
