Hi Guys,

Is anyone going to the above? Any one up for an award?

Its at the London Marriot, I have been invited along with a manufactuer as their new accessory range is up for an award, and I was first to sample and use in UK, even passed my comments on the samples before they went into production.

Seems to be a big thing, although I had never knew much about it till about a month ago.

Not heard anything about it but gensrally to busy to take time of for shows and this sort of thing. Nice to see you back Mcgaw have you sorted your problems out.

life is fantactic at the moment, couldn't be better.

Im busier than I want to be, but can't complain, first year trading as McGaw Electrical is complete, been a good year.

Hopefully have a bit more time to be on here.

i think the doctor off here has received a award before so may be there

The Calcard is in as a finalist.

See TEF Auctions.

I am going as a guest of Megger, I have been many times before and have always found it good fun. They tend to have a good personality to present the awards, even if the awards are sometimes a bit perplexing.

I was there when the Niceic gave an award for the best inovation of the last 50 years, Megger were up with the 'Megger' but were pipped to the post by

Super Rod, or as someone said "A stick with a hook on the end":slap:slap

Good luck all those up for an award:good luck:

Think it's the light switch with loop terminal.

First in the UK. Even passed comment on the samples, use about

the best ideas are the simplest,

the guy with the cats eyes for instance,

or the bloke with the stick and a hook on the end.

better than the guy that took a meter and refined it and turned it into a hospitalising Megger,

sorry,

but they live on an old reputation, very reminiscent of MK at times, although they seem to have picked their game up again recently.

not sure about Megger, they have scared me away big time.

I like the new range, but then I always have been a Ashley/hager user.

I think for the cost comparison to others out there they are good value aswell.

As Admin said the CalCard made it to the final. The press release can be read here

A big thanks to you guys who were quoted in the response to the origonal entry.

Your feedback in the forum was reflective of the quality of the forum and provided the judges an independent review.

Calltronics no longer has the CalCard, it is a design company and has many projects.

The CalCard is now marketed by a new company TESTCAL which is focused purely on selling this and other similar products.

I would love to invite you all to the ceremony, but putting aside the cost of a seat at

I sense another sponsor coming on-board. ;) :p

Congratulations on your acheivement and long may it continnue with the others. :)
