Timer switch for lights

Folks,

I have a customer who would like a timer switch for some florescent fittings for his shop. He wants to be able to switch them on/off and also have a timer on them so customers can look in till they turn off about 10 o'clock at night. My concern is to find a timer that will work with florescent fittings as I believe some don't work.
