Yes best place for that thing in the picture is the skip, lol the number of them that I've seen tip over or slip isn't worth thinking about,I slung mine and keep a trolley jack in the boot.Usually at Euro if you give them the vehicle reg they'll tell you the parts you need, anyway I've posted you a link in case you don't have it,you can enter your reg and get an idea yourself.best of luck and if you need to know anything just ask.
ill be honest its better than the ones ive used on a transit before as it hooks around the bodywork, as long as you only use it on flat secure ground the factory one in my case should be ok

Just be careful with it mate, best thing would be to keep a piece of timber about 2" thick in the car to place the jack on,sod's law say's you won't be on firm level ground when you need it.

better than the scissor death jacks that come with cars, but its still a bit feeble - at most i'd use that to change a tyre or to lift the car onto axle stands

Exactly! it's a lot cheaper than paying for the damage when a crappy jack fails, let alone the potential for injury.

i was in stiches about 10 years ago when i friend fried a pc when the cheap nast psu failed and fried everything.

over £1000 of parts died, they had an ssd in it XD the idiot bought an ssd before 2010 and paid heavily for it

too right,it beggars belief these days that you pay 20 grand plus for a new car and end up with a crappy jack worth about a fiver, and don't get me started on those stupid puncture repair kits that are basically a can of fixing foam.I had 2 recently, one was a young lone female, stranded down a lonely country lane with a tear in the sidewall, and the other was a lady in a 4x4 late at night who didn't know how to use one.I'm not being funny but if I was buying an expensive new car I'd be wanting a proper spare wheel and I wouldn't be paying extra for it.

exactly right, if some cars can fit a full size tyre why do they have a can of goo or a space saver, some dont even have the option or space to fit a full size tyre now

certain tyres are special order in as well so some people will be stuck for a while if they have a blowout

What gets me is this, you go out and buy a cheap Daewoo or Suzuki and it comes with a proper spare, now that car probably costs around 7 or 8k,go buy something for 20k upwards and you either get a pram wheel or a tin of spray, and what good is the spray with a rip in the tyre?

its cheaper
it's a rip off Andy, you'd expect no spare with a cheap nasty car but not with something like a Jaguar or an expensive 4x4.
