Im sick of being stuck in traffic Mon-Fri im working for a firm in Trafford Park takes me 40 mins in the morning and nearly two hours on the way home, i hate driving on motorways so come off at Eccles and go down the A57 through Warrington home to Widnes.

street, I live max 15mins from trafford park, but its about 2 hours away between 7.20am and 9 if I go via the M60,

I usually go through town if I need to go there through the week in 'rush' hour.

I dont usually, thats why I live in[near] town but mostly work out of it,

heading in the opposite direction to most of the traffic for most of my journey both morning and evening.

I have about 1&1/2 mile of motorway that I use[can be avoided if really needs to be] 5minutes from my house, then Im in the opposite direction to all the rest of the idiots, usually fine as long as I get left the house before 7.20am.

Can you believe it. Had a day off today and had to go to Llandudno shopping so had an early start to miss the traffic. Massive queues on the Brittania Bridge. Must have taken all of 5 minutes to get off the island. Must leave earlier next time as its so stressful.

5 mins!!!!  5 bleedin' mins !!!!    OMG !  To see your life slipping away like that .   It must have been awful.   And then Llandudlydidlyio with it's  flyovers, underpasses, 5 lane expressways and all those motorways converging upon the Great Orm causing  2 minute traffic jams backing up to Craig-Y-Don .

This job I'm just coming to the end of  is  3/4 hour just to get out of North  B,ham  ...then 1/2 hour to the job .  The last 1/2 hour is OK , dual carriageways through leafy Warwickshire countryside and chocolate box villages .  ;)

Would you believe I got stuck behind a flipping tractor today.  Those things should be banned from the countryside.

And we have had roadworks at the top of our road with 3 way traffic lights for nearly 2 weeks now on and off. Anything up to two minutes delay if you catch the lights wrong.  Mind I've collected 8 Landrovers full of firewood from what they have been chopping down.  There's plenty more to be had but I've run out of places to put it.

I have family in llanfair, and brynsiencyn, go regular in fact I'm going this week, and never get stuck in traffic, well as you say 5 mins as you filter on and off the Britannia bridge. The only thing I find from time to time is being stuck behind some very slow drivers, but it might be me as I'm always in a rush.

I can get to manchester (45miles) in almost the same time as I can get to the south of blackpool from the north (8miles)

The lesson is if you dont want to spend 3 or more hours a day in traffic move to Scotland or Wales
:slap :slap

I drove a total distance of SEVEN bleedin` miles this morning - took over 90 mins

Then went a further 6 miles, one hour later - that took 40 mins

Finally, went 3 miles in 5 mins - then came home in 22 mins........

What a soddin daft day. If people don`t know how to drive in poor conditions.........STAY AT SODDIN HOME!!!!!.
