Well as you know the boiler packed in monday, then the iron has started tripping the rcd and now last night an almighty bang from the washing machine!

Washing machine is just a broken drum spring so £18 for a spring kit and hopefully nothing else has been broken inside, but wont know until tuesday when parts arrive. The mrs is hoping she'll get a new washer but im trying to keep it running a little longer!

The boiler is being repaired this afternoon, and im sure i can stretch to a new iron!

My Mrs hates it when the dishwasher breaks down..... and I repair it.

I did a new CU once, and next day I had a phone call, "can you fit one socket that's not RCD protected for my Mrs to plug the iron into"  I told him to buy her a new iron.

Seems to be the year of white goods failing...just replaced the Fridge/Freezer and Microwave now pretty sure the Washing Machine is about to die a death...

We had 3 washing machines go in my family this year...

Ours went first, parents had a spare that was left behind when they moved into their new house (Bosch Maxx6) and they gave us that,,, then my brothers machine broke down needing replacement,,,, then my parents broke down needing replacement..... All 3 broke within a 10 days!!!!!! Felt so guilty keeping the one my parents gave us, but they insisted :)

Mrs has been asking for a new washer for ages, i reckon and asked if she had sabotaged it yesterday when i was at elex

She denied it.

Also a few times recently when i have been at work she said the rcd had tripped when ironing. I thought it was a ploy as each time i came back home pa tested it and finished the bloomin ironing and couldnt find any fault!

Its all a conspiracy, the mrs and her nan who also said "get him to spend some money instead of repairing it!"

Its not twice as bad mate, its probably a lot worse than you think! Hehe :D

Replacing the dishwasher this year that actually wasn't faulty still annoys me. The replacement is not as good as the old one and the faulty water softener probably will never get replaced. That is the thing with water softeners you can live without them.
