i thought that could have been strategicly placed where the sun dont shine if you get my drift :^O :^O
once i get round to it, im going to connect the alarm on van to my air horn. thatll get attention.I supose an aux output on the interface would be good to hook up a massive siren to scare the buggers off.
not sure of any alarms that will text/call out, but, you could always use a GSM dialler from a standard alarm and (somehow) get a trigger signal from alarm. power supply would be 12v from the battery (also another thing ill eventually get round to installing)Is there any vehicle alarm systems out there that text the owner if an "incident" occurs?
ebay specialSorry to hear what happened switch. Id be lost if my kit was stolen. I hope everything sorts itself out mate and you find out who the thieving ba5tard scum bags are.Anyway this has got me thinking (as it has others I believe) about van security. Lee you have just fitted a bargain alarm system to your vehicle. Was this straight forward? How much we talkin? (if you don't mind me asking).
I would like to install some sort of security system to my Ford Transit (52). Basically all I would reguire is some sort of recognition of any doors opened, any lifting/tilting of the van. I supose an aux output on the interface would be good to hook up a massive siren to scare the buggers off. Is there any vehicle alarm systems out there that text the owner if an "incident" occurs?
Dpn't really know much about vehicle alarms, but any help/guidance would be much appreciated
Cheers.
