Van Led Sticky Back Lighting

Hi people seen a window fitters van today that had strips of led lights through out its length.

It was so bright I was envious.

Question is will these work through the vans supply 12v or does it need a led driver as we'll

I've fitted loads of these in the past but via led drivers

Thoughts please

direct 12v from battery. got some in mine, 3 strips of 5 mtr. nice and bright

Thanks Andy did they come with a soldered lead already them and where did u get them from please !

ebay. they come with a short lead attached, or you can get conenctors to fit onto them

I've been experimenting with these in the van and they work very well I run them off the existing (broken) lights in the back of the van you can even get RGB strips with remote controls!

Some have connectors others my need soldering

The RGB ones are pretty decent and the white is brighter than the cool white strip

A friend of mine has put a 10meter strip of the coloured LED's in the back of his van.

Its great when he opens the back door......Perfect for Christmas
