U see I am also confused why they have 4x knock out holes top and bottom? I have tested the enclosure for earth and I do not get a reading only when I test between live and the earth connection but not to the box! Would the coating have any thing to do with reducing the eddy currents ect?

Just because the enclosure has knockouts does not mean that they are there to be used the way you have,, the coating has absolutley no effect on eddy currents

Picked it up this morning and thought of this thread aswell as i was reading it in the van.
