Hi everybody, I,m new to this topic and my knowledge is limited. I feel I,ve done the maths right but need confirmation.
My client wants to charge a 36v battery 12A hrs using a solar panel and MPPT controller. Needs 2amps minimum charge for 6 hrs, however I understand that a deep cycle battery should not be discharged more than 50% if possible?
Apart from that, I think expecting 6 hrs of useable sunlight in the uk is definitely iffy. The load on the battery will be approx. 30 Watt/hrs. He has a very small footprint for the panel, only 400mm x600mm. What panel do I need?
