There is 8x G9's and 3xsurface mount PCB's with RGB LEDs and an mp3 player.

I cannot believe that this has been through the CE marking processes, it looks like it's been thrown together using random components.

The cable colours are what first put me off.

If you mean a house where curry is prepared on a daily basis then yes you are correct.

Yes it will sound ****, no box jus tin and chintz. :C

It was purchased from the Turkish shop and on the box it said 5 star import company and had the import markings on the side.

A few months back CEF had a Led light bulb on display with a bluetooth speaker and remote all in one only a bit bigger than a standard lamp, it sounded great.
