Hi All
I recently purchased some wireless infra red light beams that are solar powered and rightly or wrongly assumed that the manufacturers questions regarding chip (2262) and resistance (4.7m) was all that they needed and the beams would work when I paired them to the control panel.
Unfortunately they didn't work and the manufacturer asked me to send photo's of the door contact PCB's, which I supply 3 different types of. They said that some panels "use different code definition". On examination the manufacturer said they need to send new circuit boards for the beams for me to replace and then they should work
Can anyone explain what "different code definition" is or why this is.
Thanks
