Board change today at a 4 bed  detached .   Must have been designed & wired by   Overthetop  Electrical  !

20 way board in garage consisting of  :-

Cooker  Top

Cooker  Bottom

Hob

Radials  X 2

Ring Mains  X  5

Smokes

Lighting  X  9

Almost every room on it's own lighting circuit .

did a 'Smart' house once,

every area to be switched had its own circuit back to a 'iLight' dimming board by the consumer unit. Was actually 4 or 6 ilight dimminng units fed from one of the 3 consumer units. Some rooms had 1-4 lighting circuits depending on its lighting, each room had a switch with loads of buttons fed by cat5 that could be programmed to switch anything within the house....... unfortunnatly a power cut would sometimes bugger up the iLight programmer and they would be stuck with some lights not working properly until a teenager showed up with a laptop. Luckily it was done just before LED stuff was all the rage and became obsolete within 10 years.

So that's 16 circuits you need to identify precisely what there were each before you could start or was it well documented?
