Getting a low flame on righthand side of burner sometimes not enough to heat the flame sence electrode and boiler shuts down . Can you wirebrush the top of burner to clean/improve the flame .

The only advice I'd give would be that you should obtain the services of a "gas safe" engineer to give your boiler a service... Cleaning the burner is definitely not diy

Agree with Noz...wirebrushing burners is a no no.

I have a multipoint water heater and every now &

again, (every 3 years) the pilot goes out. It is a little

job but I can (thankfully) clean the pilot jet. Debris

is transmitted down the gas line and will accumulate

in and under jets.
