    Collingwood garden lights .

Ive had a few JCC's fail in less than 12 months. Not impressed. I discovered Knightsbridge very helpfully make their fluorescent tubes in slightly different lengths to standard recently too, when a customer asked me to replace the tubes in her under counter lights

    Have I employed a cowboy?

A large problem with safe zones is that the general public per se aren't aware of them and what they are.

    Realisation....

Depends what they are. Surgical instruments may be of some interest to some members, musical ones to some others. List em!

    Ladder safety

Sidey - I have a frame type ladder stand off, which is great, but I wish I'd bought the tray type as theres always a use for the tray. I use hooks and the like for hanging stuff off, but sometimes you just need somewhere to lay a pair of cutters and  handful of nuts and bolts down

The low life will steal anything.

Changed my bike to race shift after I jammed my toe into the tarmac changing up through Devils Elbow at Mallory and nearly got spat off, changed all my bikes over at the time, but have gone back to road pattern since I stopped racing. Them were the days :)

The low life will steal anything.

I remember the MZ race classes, mostly ETZ 250 s I had an ETZ 125, horrible, horrible thing it was. Didn't stop, didn't turn, didn't go. Bleurgh. Wouldn't want to take it anywhere near a track! I eventually crashed it into the back of a car and left a wedding tackle shaped dent in the tank...

Trabants? They were Eastern Blok weren't they? And for the two wheel fans among us - Cossacks and Urals. I had a MZ years ago, jeez it was awful

The low life will steal anything.

An old next door neighbour in Cov asked me if I could run him into work one day, as someone had broken into his Ford Escort and stolen the fusebox

The low life will steal anything.

I once spoke to a guy who had had a spate of thefts so bought a guard dog to leave on site. They stole the guard dog.

    Incompetent / awkward builders

Luckily for me down here its the opposite, well it is in my experience anyway, not had a bad one yet. Only guy I had a prob with was a chippie who I had asked not to put some panels down so I had access, and he did, tbf to him tho I was two days late getting to site

    Spot the fault®

That's 12" cable tray by the look of it, am I right in thinking that the run of FP200 that's up there should be separated from the lighting/power cables on that tray by at least 300mm? Which it obviously cant be as its on the same 12" tray?

    Fat sparkies weight loss club

Certainly not. As we all know, cake is the key to happiness.

    Ever get the feeling......you're being.....watched.....

Denman's have a monthly 'sale day' , well my local one does anyway, I get an email every month showing me what's on offer. There's usually some fairly cheap cable, and a few other bits and bobs.... BUT...... :o I've been suspicious for a long time that the goods being offered are...
