    Different ocpd? What kind? All very new to me. So far everything is on and working. Not been called back.Get EFLI Test on all sockets. Highest reading is 0.95 ohms.

    FINALLY I SORTED IT! The N was nicked and touching earth. All done. I did all tests to confirm. Rcd continuity loop end to end and IR. NO MORE COWBOY. Lesson learnt. Thanks everyone. Was just that simple.

    Ok I'm testing the earthfault loop imp. Fine at every socket. Just when earths are together at one socket the rcd trips. Customer wants no mess no floor boards up. What can I do?

    I've Split the ring at one socket everything stays on fine but then join earths together rcd goes out. All sockets show earth connection when them earths are separate but goes off when joined together again. confused.
