No - if you had an expected 15A load you'd use a 16A MCB

Dan, There,s a whole range of MCBs of various ratings and types, how come the 10 amp confuses you . 32s trip at 32 amps , 16s trip at 16amps etc etc

1.5mm T&E lighting circuits (for example).

Often less likely to trip when a standard light fitting blows, on a 6A MCB (Usually wired in 1mm T&E).
