Hi,

I am trying to source an alarm that allows me to extract information about the state of window/ door and occupancy sensors. And I would also like set the alarm remotely if possible.

I would like it to operate via one of the following Protocols:

  • Modbus
  • Mbus
  • Bacnet

I know that Honeywell offers an IP gateway, however the system doesn't output this information as standard. So this isn't suitable. However, another alarm system that uses a more open IP interface could work, although one of the above protcols would be better as I'm integrating it with a Priva BMS system.

If anyone could offer any suggestions, that would be much appreciated.

I'm getting to old for all this. I remember  maintaining alarms where it was a single loop with a pair of huge Ever Ready batteries in a wooden box at the far end from the exit door and you had to trip the alarm to exit. The 'communicator' was  a 45rpm  record player that pulsed 999 and played a message.

Sorry i cant help but i am aware there are systems such as you have described.
