I think with languages you forget if you don't use them. I have forgot most of the french I learnt at school maybe know the odd word like you could not have a conversation. I think it should be compulsory that everyone should speak english it would save a lot of trouble.

Very good Mrs A. A woman of many talents knowing more than one language. I did french at school but can't remember much of it. I think there was one av eye vou un cuppa or was that the advert.

I can say certain words in Welsh, german and spanish, and a bit of italian thanks to my mate.Cant hold a conversation tho.

I spent three years learning to speak, read and write Japanese, still can read lots, but so rusty now could not hold a proper coversation
