hi, im new to the site, iv just completed my rig on the new am2 and in a panic and rush to finish in time i stupidly did the swa fly leads in 1.5mm instead of 2.5mm or 4mm!! anyone know if this has a big affect on passing? many thanks!

Please explain what fly leads you are refering to? the only fly lead i remember using is for testing my r2s. More info pls mate, but as long as you finished intime and everything was safe and tested ok then you should be ok. safe isolation is quite important and obviously showing that you are competent in what you are doing. Its done on a points system so dont worry if you did a couple of bits wrong.

oh ok thanks andy, yeah its not even neccsesary really as its a metalclad board, but good practice if done. if this is the worst of your worries then im sure you have passed!

I should be ok then!?! Yea iv done the exam which im sure went ok, the testing was absolutely spot on as was safe isolation so just fault find tomorrow! Any pointers?!? :) all this and the way the company is going ill be made redundant anyway! Lol many thanks

Do you have to find faults on a test board with a meter? I've not done AM2 so just going by what I did in 2330 lvl 3. i.e identifying faults on a circuit when insulation resistance testing and continuity testing.
