Well today we had to go to the crappie store at Trafford park to get my daughters iPhone 5 replaced,,,, the camera had stopped working :(

So we get there at the appointed time and wait to see one of their "geek squad" who replaced the phone... TBH they were verrry efficient - perhaps overly as it felt that they had a certain amount of time to deal with our problem before seeing the next person, and fook me, the store was busy and very noisy... Did my head in TBH

While we were there we obviously had a look around... There's nothing there but blinking clothes shops :( kept the daughter and wife happy though and the food hall is expensive for what you get............. £45 for 3 burgers with 3 chips and 3 drinks

On the plus side I did manage to get 50mpg out of the car for the 130 mile round trip :)

Lesson to be learned.... Don't goto crapplestore on a Saturday when every genius and his grandma are there. :slap

There was a thing in which about all the repair places and crapple did quite well. So be thankful you weren't at curry's pc world carphone warehouse!

Avoid shopping centres at all costs!

:)

Its just been an absolute PITA.... if it was any other make of phone I would get a next working day exchange phone from my network... delivered FOC!!!! Its only Apple who demand that they deal with you directly instead of the network,,,, they will deliver an exchange but they charge something like £30 for the pleasure and take your card details as security

That phone is on a T-Mobile contract, our other 2 are on EE.. all 3 on my business contract, but I now get 2 separate bills

Have EE swapped an Apple phone for you? They have swapped a Sony for us without problem in a very local EE store and I've had a HTC and Samsung swapped by courier with T-Mobile before

I don't know the specifics of what happened with T-Mobile as Mrs Noz phoned them (the business team), but they just passed us over to Apple

As with you, the T-Mobile business team have very good.. But the EE store have also been helpful

We did have a bit of a problem when we ported from T-Mobile to EE (4g) with the wife's phone,,, it ported out from T-Mobile OK but it didn't port into EE,,, it was stuck in limbo and neither phone worked so we took out a new line (in the EE store) and cancelled the one that was in limbo,,, it was a right pain TBH

My wife's Iphone broke 3 days after warranty ran out. Apple couldn't care. Not happy.

She's gone back to a Blackberry.

Jeez Noz, you shoulda called up.

Trafford Centre, work of the devil that place, however, there is a good model shop there you could spend an hour browsing in, that's about it though.

It's been at least 3years since I've been there, hopefully it'll be another 3 at least.

I did think about giving you a call but I couldn't put you through the pain mate ;)

TBH it wasn't that bad,,, we didn't do any clothes browsing,,, just the phone, a school bag for my daughter, the chocolate shops (f'in expensive) and lunch
