It passes muster , clever pun . Could there be a market for lead (Pb) smart meter covers ? I for one do not want the damn thing constantly transmitting across my house to the plug-in ghismo every 15 mins. I was under the impression that the meter would transmit the monthly reading via the cell phone network , which didn't seem so bad .
Something else I was told years ago , that never came to fruition was that a "Smart Meter" would come along that would send the meter reading data down the power supply network cables to be decoded at the other end .
