Cefl Pir Occupancy Switches

I have installed the occupancy switches and cant the time right of when I want them to come on depending on how much light is in the room.  The lux control goes from 100 to 1000. If I want them to come on when I enter the room when its just getting dark do I  point the arrow on the lux towards 100 or 1000? Hope this makes sense.

or wait until its as dark as you want it to work at, then adjust setting until it comes on
