Well he does want a Ferrari...

It's more to do with how personable a bunch Sparks are in my opinion and the conversations I have had.

In my time doing this I have spoken to lots of different trades. I have got on the best with Sparks and Tilers - they seem to be the most content with their careers (lining myself up there for counteracting arguments from other forum members )

This is the kind of thing he had to cope with. The test states that you only have 5 seconds to come up with an answer too so there's pressure.

There are also slides that have no numbers so you have to say 'nothing' as an answer. But for someone who is nervous they are going to be thinking "Well is there are a number? Are they trying to catch me out?" As well as the other instances where they deliberately make one number look like another one (5 and 6, 1 and 7).

I'm so glad its over for him and he can crack on smashing his GCSE's. He's that looking forward to starting his apprenticeship I don't think he'll be having much of a Summer break this year.

No, as the ability to distinguish colours is a requirement of the job. Be the same as if you went for a job that required you to be able to speak German, and claimed that it was "racist" as you could not..

Final Update!

So we spent a few days 'practicing' Ishihara tests online in preparation for his re-test yesterday evening. Really pleased to say he smashed the test with 100%.

Thanks for all your responses, advice and encouragement. It's really appreciated.
