Commercial Work To Domestic?

I will be starting with domestic as I imagine its the easiest work to get at the start, and then hopefully get more into commercial once I am up and running and have my NICEIC/Napit/Elecsa/etc in place. I have read on here before about NICEIC Approved Contractor status possibly opening doors with councils/letting agents/etc so that is something I will be considering.

Commercial all the way! I started mostly with domestic but it is probably about 50/50 now.

You are right about the domestic being an easier way in but get yourself around the office blocks and factories near to you and get a bit of face time with the Facilities Managers. Commercial/Industrial is in my opinion much better work and pays (me anyway) better. I am constantly on the lookout for more commercial work.

I don't mind dealing with the public, it's their hooses I hate!
